MINUTES OF THE CAPITAL CITY KART CLUB MEETING MARCH 9, 2005 AT THE COWICHAN VALLEY INN, DUNCAN
The meeting was brought to order at 7.50 p.m. Attending this meeting were 3 members, 5 of the Executive and 2 prospective members, Carol MacDougall and Doug Franche.
Minutes of the last meeting were read. Motion to adopt as read by Colin 2 nd Gerry.
Treasurer's Report was read. Some discussion followed. Motion for acceptance by Colin 2 nd Gerry.
Dorothy reported the work party on February 12 went okay. The tower, container and some of the tires were moved. We have about three quarters of the tires left to move and Dorothy will be arranging for these to be moved. We will just need an excavator to pile and load them into a truck. Unfortunately, the Cushman had been stolen. This has been reported to the RCMP. An ad for one has been seen in the Buy, Sell and Trade and someone will be following this up. No Roger at this meeting. He was going to be in touch with Steve Lorimer of Timberwest to price out the land we are interested in. Hopefully he will get back to us shortly. Some discussion followed and background information was given to Carol and Doug.
Steen received an email from Don Choquer forwarding Paul Cooke's message confirming Snell 95 helmets can still be used this year.
Sunday, March 20 is Spruston's AGM. Dorothy hopes to attend to check the Treasurer's Report. CCKC is still owed $7,000.00.
