ABBREVIATED MINUTES OF THE

CAPITAL CITY KART CLUB MEETING

AUGUST 10, 2005 AT THE COWICHAN VALLEY INN, DUNCAN  

The meeting was brought to order at 7.40 p.m.

27 attended this meeting – 6 Executive plus 21 members and signed-up members. It was good to see such a turnout.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the acquisition of some property to build a track and to authorize the Executive to raise funds for this acquisition. After discussion the Motion proposed by John McNabb was unanimously passed. For full details of the Minutes come to the next Club meeting in September!

John gave a cheque to CCKC from the Port Alberni Grand Prix 2004. There were no complaints about the last race and everyone is hoping we have a Grand Prix there next year.

Don Mouner was going to attend the meeting but unfortunately had a 200 lb. gear fall on his foot. We will call Joanne to see how he is and hope for a speedy recovery.
